A former KBS announcer, Ji Seung Hyun confessed to trying to get set up with comedian Yoo Jae Suk for a long time.

Ji Seung Hyun appeared on SBS’ Honey, making her first debut into variety since her debut in 2000. There, she openly shared that she had been interested in the Nation’s MC since his rookie years.

“Even when I was an announcer for the regional station, I had my eyes on Yoo Jae Suk, who was a rookie at the time," she said. “I felt that he was a person who would become great in the future, and asked all of my colleagues to set me up on a date with him.”

Unfortunately for Ji Seung Hyun, fate was not on her side.

“I tried so hard, but I never met with him, not even randomly. To this day, I’ve never seen him in person. I guess we had different fates when it came to marriage.”

Ji Seung Hyun’s past obsession with Yoo Jae Suk will be revealed on June 21 on SBS.
