On Wednesday, August 5th, 2026, Filipino girl group BINI brought their infectious energy to the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for a night filled with music, dancing, laughter, and plenty of love from their LA fans. From the moment the pre-show festivities began to the final notes of “Salamin, Salamin,” the group made it clear that their third visit to the City of Angels was going to be one to remember.
Warming Up the Crowd
Before the concert officially began, fans of all ages were invited onto the stage for a dance challenge, creating an energetic atmosphere throughout the theater. The pre-show activity gave fans an opportunity to show off their dance moves while getting the audience excited for the performances ahead.
Rafi opened the night with a heartfelt set that showcased a more emotional side of the evening. She performed “Unpaid Debt,” “June Air,” “This Is Who I Am,” and “Biggest Critic.” Before performing “This Is Who I Am,” Rafi explained the emotional weight behind the song, sharing that it is a sad song whose lyrics explore how grief can transform someone into a version of themselves they no longer recognize.
Following Rafi was rising artist JMKO, a new artist under ABS-CBN’s music roster. He opened with an unreleased song before explaining his connection to karaoke and Filipino culture. He then performed a cover of Ne-Yo’s “So Sick,” revealing that it is one of his favorite songs to sing at karaoke.
JMKO continued with “Malibu,” a newly released song inspired by his childhood in the Philippines, where he grew up on Malibu Street. He closed his set with a cover of Bruno Mars’ “Risk It All,” giving the audience a preview of an artist with plenty of potential.
BINI Makes Their Grand Entrance
At approximately 8:30 p.m., the lights went down and a VCR began a five-minute countdown. As the clock reached the four-minute mark, shadows of the members appeared on screen before transforming into computer-generated images scanning their faces.
The countdown sped forward as the screen began displaying the members’ names, faces, and moments from their past performances. With less than a minute remaining, the anticipation inside the Peacock Theater reached a fever pitch.
Suddenly, flag bearers and dancers rushed onto the stage and through the audience as flashes of light illuminated the theater. BINI then emerged behind the dancers in bold red outfits, officially kicking off the night with “Unang Kilig.”
The group immediately kept the momentum going with a medley of shortened versions of “I Feel Good,” “Ang Huling Cha Cha,” “Lagi,” “Diyan Ka Lang,” and “Na Na Na.”
“What’s Up, LA?”
After the opening run of songs, BINI finally took a moment to greet their fans. The members expressed how happy they were to be back in the City of Angels, marking their third time performing in Los Angeles.
They reminisced about some of the things they remember from previous visits, including Santa Monica Beach, shopping, and, of course, the Hollywood sign. The members then initiated a full-on LA vibe check, asking fans to raise their light sticks and seeing which sections of the theater could scream the loudest. They called out LA, downtown, and finally BINI, with each section attempting to outdo the other.
The mood then shifted into something more intimate as the members performed “Katabi” with microphones stands and stools on stage. “Sweet Tooth” followed before the girls disappeared backstage for another VCR.
A Sweet Surprise Through the Crowd
When BINI returned, the energy immediately picked back up with “Sugar Rush” and “Step Back.” The group then surprised fans by performing “Honey Honey” while making their way through the audience.
As they walked around the theater, the members handed out a few bracelets to lucky fans, creating some unforgettable moments for those closest to the action. They returned to the stage for the ending of “Tic Tac Toe,” keeping the audience moving and singing along.
But BINI wasn’t the only group getting their moment in the spotlight.
Meet the BINI Besties
Aiah and Sheena remained on stage to keep the audience entertained while making sure everyone still had enough energy for what was coming next. The two introduced BINI’s dance crew as their “Besties” and encouraged the crowd to give them a warm welcome.
The dancers then took over the stage with their fun performance of “Besties,” which introduced each member of the dance team. What started as a playful and upbeat performance soon transformed into something much more dramatic, allowing the dancers to showcase a completely different side of themselves.
BINI soon returned to the stage in new outfits, launching into “Shagidi,” “Zero Pressure,” and “Out Of My Head.” The latter had the entire theater jumping along as the members and fans fed off each other’s energy.
A Night of Filipino Pride
Throughout the concert, BINI repeatedly expressed their appreciation for the Los Angeles audience, eventually telling the crowd that they were one of the group’s best audiences.
The members also took a moment to acknowledge some special guests in attendance. They thanked the filmmakers of Forgotten Island, who were present in the audience, as well as DreamWorks and Liza Soberano, the voice of Raissa from the film.
Even as the night approached its final stretch, BINI made it clear that they weren’t ready to say goodbye to LA. They joked about missing the food and shopping, but most importantly, they emphasized that they would miss the fans.
The group continued with “Blush” and “Bikini” before launching into “Pantropiko.” The performance featured an extended ending and dance break, giving the members and fans one more opportunity to celebrate together. Afterward, the girls took a bow and walked off the stage.
The Encore Brings More Surprises
The cheers from the audience quickly brought BINI back for an encore, beginning with “Cherry On Top.” Before the performance, the group pointed out that the writers of the song were in the audience and took a moment to thank them for coming.
The surprises continued when a wheel featuring the members’ names appeared on the screen. The wheel landed on Aiah, followed by a second wheel featuring song choices. It landed on “B HU U R,” giving Aiah the challenge of performing the song on her own.
A third spin landed on Mikha, while the song wheel selected “8,” creating another fun solo moment for the audience.
A Special Honor from Los Angeles
Just when fans thought the night couldn’t get any more memorable, a special guest appeared on stage to surprise BINI.
Representatives from the City of Los Angeles, including the City Controller—the first Filipino elected official to hold the position—joined the group to recognize BINI and their impact. The City of Los Angeles and District 14 presented BINI with a certificate of appreciation as a special acknowledgment of their visit and the connection they have built with Filipino fans in the city.
The unexpected recognition became one of the most meaningful moments of the night, celebrating not only BINI’s success but also the growing presence and influence of Filipino artists on an international stage.
Ending the Night With a Bang
With one final message to the crowd, BINI declared that it was time to end the night with a bang. The opening notes of “Salamin, Salamin” filled the Peacock Theater, immediately sending fans into another round of cheers and sing-alongs.
As the members performed their final song, the energy that had filled the theater from the beginning returned one last time. For their third time in Los Angeles, BINI once again proved that their connection with the City of Angels runs deep. And judging by the deafening cheers that followed them through the final moments of “Salamin, Salamin,” LA is already ready for their next visit.
