GSoul embarks on a North American tour and made his stop in Los Angeles, California on July 21st, 2022. The South Korean solo male artist has been in the music scene for a very long time but officially made his debut in 2015 with his first EP.
Upon leaving his long-time agency, JYP Entertainment, he joined H1ghr Music where he was able to showcase more of his style and music. Throughout the years, he went from being GSoul to GOLDEN. He is now back to being GSoul and has been extremely successful.
GSoul visited many cities on his North American tour but of course, he couldn’t leave out Los Angeles. On the 21st of July, he made his LA tour stop at The Regent Theater. Fans lined up outside the venue and when everyone had successfully entered the venue, you can see that there was barely any standing room. GSoul had a packed venue from the bottom floor to the balcony.
Show Openers – late & Phe R.E.D.S.
Before the fans were able to see GSoul, they were welcomed by some very talented show openers. LA native, late went on first. He performed a total of 5 tracks and many fans sang along, showcasing his popularity from the start. late also had a special feature vocalist, Jae Luna.
Next up was Phe R.E.D.S, who is also GSoul’s label mate. His stage name is his last name along with the abbreviation, “Remember Every Dream Stolen”. The Cambodian-Chinese-American singer-songwriter sang 4 tracks for Los Angeles and hyped up the audience. He mentioned artists like Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone who featured on some of his tracks.
GSoul Time!
Soon enough, it was time for GSoul to hit the stage. He quickly came on to perform for his waiting fans. He started the show off with “Tequila”, “Bad Habit”, and “Selfish”. LA fans never fail to sing along to songs and they made sure GSoul felt the love.
He didn’t talk much at the concert but sang happy birthday to some of his fans in the crowd and even signed their mini signs.
Throughout the show, he sang many of his songs like “Better”, “Get Up”, “Natural”, and “(Free) I’m Gonna Be”. Of course, he had to sing some fan favorites! He slowed it down by performing “Hate Everything” which had everyone singing along. Then quickly hyped it back up with “Broken Record”.
Encore
He couldn’t leave the concert just like that so he hurriedly jumped back on stage to perform his encore. The encore set had a total of 4 songs including “Need You”, “Can’t”, “Found You”, and ended the show with the song “Love Me Again”.
This was definitely a night to remember for many fans. late even came out to take photos with fans as they were leaving the venue.
