Big Ocean made a giant splash for their first ever stop in Los Angeles during their 2026 tour THE GREATEST BATTLE. Having previously toured in other states such as Minnesota and Nevada, the trio—PJ, Chanyeon, and Jiseok—put on a refreshing and energetic show for LA fans to enjoy.

The group made waves as the first hard of hearing group in South Korea, coming together to bring love to the public through music and sign language. It was heartwarming to see a group who puts so much into their craft, even going as far as incorporating sign language into their choreography.

A Bright and Powerful Opening

Taking place on April 24th, 2026 at the Avalon Theater in Los Angeles, Big Ocean had a strong opening. Opening the stage with one of their title tracks, “Cold Moon,” Big Ocean took the stage donned in white and gray outfits and big smiles on their faces. They then continued with an uplifting set featuring songs “brighT,” “Glow,” “FLOW,” and “BLOW.”

Showcasing their boyish charms to the crowd, the members even took the time between each song to teach the audience how to sign each of the choruses.

Smooth Transitions and Strong Fan Connection

Following that, they performed a cover of “Stay With Me,” originally sung by EXO’s Chanyeol and Punch, remastered with a traditional Korean sound and soulful dance moves. This acted as a smooth transition into a more sensual and “boy crush” vibe with songs “FADE OUT” and “ATTENTION.”

What was surprising compared to most K-pop concerts is that the three members took the time to communicate with fans after almost every song. They even went the extra mile to speak in English and give lessons on sign language. It was a warming sight to see a love with no boundaries between artist and fan.

Spotlighting Individual Talents

The second half of the concert gave the audience a chance to get to know more about the members and their unique talents. The next stage featured duo JJ—PJ and Jiseok—with hip-hop track “BUCKET HAT.” The duo jokingly said they were sad they could not throw the hats out to fans because they only had the two on them.

Then the duo turned solo with the next segment featuring performances from each of the members. Starting off with PJ, he handpicked a fan to come and act with him during his performance of “SINKING,” where he showcased his acting and vocal abilities while chasing after his “ex-girlfriend” on stage.

Chanyeon then reemerged to perform a rap-heavy cover of “Forest of Dreams” by K-Flow, sharing how the song got him through rough times. Jiseok came back out with an energetic showing of “Back,” interacting with fans throughout his routine.

A Grand Finale Full of Emotion

Darkness filled the stage as Big Ocean’s latest music video “One Man Army” played for fans to enjoy while the members prepared for their final segment. Now changed into outfits from the music video, the members returned with a spirited ending to their concert through songs “Alive” and “One Man Army.” Fans waved their blue candles throughout the venue as the group closed the main set with “Slow.”

And a K-pop concert wouldn’t be complete without an encore. Big Ocean came out with one final song, “END OF TIME.” With lyrics about staying with fans until the “end of time,” it was an endearing way of expressing their love through music and choreography.

Los Angeles Awaits Their Return

Being able to feel the love from the members through song and communication was a touching experience. Coming out of the concert with solid knowledge of some sign language, it also felt like fans were fighting alongside the members in “the greatest battle.” The City of Angels eagerly awaits their return.
