With a promise to come back more often, SHINee’s ONEW took the stage once again at The Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles, CA, on January 11th, 2026 during his first world tour, ONEW THE LIVE: PERCENT (%). Following his previous tour in 2025, Onew not only brought the same charm and vocal prowess but also captivated fans with a new set of songs featured on his second full-length album, “PERCENT.”
The stage opened with a light show filled with beaming blue lights and sounds of coding in the air. And as the darkness set in, Onew, decked out in leather, appeared on stage with his yellow microphone ready to start the night. Cheers erupted as he sang “Percent” and “No Parachute,” warming up to the stage with smooth, controlled vocals that immediately pulled the audience in. The energy steadily built as Onew moved effortlessly between tracks, his charisma filling the venue and setting the tone for an intimate yet powerful night ahead.

A Scene Straight Out of a Movie
What followed was like a scene straight out of a movie: fans swaying from left to right to the music of “Yeowoobi,” and Onew leading the way with lyrics like “your love takes me higher than I’ve ever been.” A loving testament to the connection-building between the fans and the artist at the concert. And rocking the first set out with “Far Away,” with orange and blue beams of light bursting alongside Onew’s vocal performance.
Taking a short breather, he gave a warm welcome to his fans, fulfilling his promise of coming back with this tour. He also hoped to “fill up [fans’] happiness levels to 100%,” which was happily received with cheers for the levels to be 200% or even 500%.

Conversations in Rhythm
With all the back-and-forth interactions, Onew smoothly steered the conversation to segue into his next song, also titled “Conversation.” The synergy found in the first conversation helped set the tone for the next stages as the artist happily danced with fans and got the crowd to sing along with songs like “All Day” and “MAESTRO.” He really let loose, bouncing around the stage and lifting the mic stand into the air to get fans hyped and moving along to the same rhythm.
The warm energy doesn’t just end with the performance and the cheering. The meaningful engagement helps to build that special connection, which Onew goes the extra mile by asking questions like “What was your favorite song?” throughout each of his speaking segments. These little conversations really show the strong bond between the fans and the artist on stage, bringing them closer in the name of music.
The appearance of a chair signaled the next set to begin, followed by heartfelt songs “Starry Night,” “Winner,” and “Epilogue.” One thing to note during these performances was that they had little to no backing tracks, allowing Onew’s vocals to shine through within the theater. With fans joining in on select lines, the venue gradually shifted into a deeply intimate space, one that felt untouched by the outside world. Onew then brought the segment to a close with an emotional note that lingered in the air.
“Even if we live in such different places, we can still meet like this and share memories and emotions.”

Lighthearted Moments and Rising Energy
Opening back up with a lighter note, Onew sang “Silky,” a track inspired by his second-happiest moment of–the first being able to meet fans–lying in bed. Followed by the upbeat “Beat Drum,” he mentioned that his energy also went up to 500%. The singer also let out his witty side throughout the show, garnering chuckles, saying that there was no need to cheer for the encore because he would come out anyway.
The microphone stand made a comeback as the set started with singles, “MAD” and “Caffeine.” Afterwards, fans came together to organize a project during the performance of “ANIMALS,” where the audience had light-up goggles and other cute accessories to help signify the fun title track.

An Encore That Came All the Way Down
The encore section was also a memory to remember; including the performances and Onew’s direct interactions with the crowd. He warmed up the crowd with “Oreo Cake” on stage, and partied with fans directly on the venue floor for “Yay.” Even going as far as preparing a gift for fans, Onew also solidified his position as a pitcher by throwing signed toys and balls onto both levels of the venue.
The singer talked about an “indescribable percent [of] happiness” at the end of the concert, never failing to share his gratitude for fans who came out to support his journey as an artist. Singing the final song, “Happy Birthday,” Onew turned the moment into a heartfelt celebration, encouraging the crowd to sing along as he smiled warmly across the venue. The performance felt less like a goodbye and more like a promise, as he lingered on stage to take in the cheers, bowing deeply and waving until the very last second—leaving Los Angeles wrapped in warmth, joy, and the sense of a shared memory that would last long after the lights came up with ONEW THE LIVE: PERCENT (%).
“And you guys loved me and waited for me, and that was why I could come back to perform for you guys.”
