[RECAP] OnlyOneOf Mesmerize With Charisma & Choreography

South Korean boy group, OnlyOneOf end their Grand America tour in Hollywood, California. With lines wrapped around several buildings of fans waiting to see the idol group, it was clear that their popularity was no joke.

The Venue – Avalon Hollywood

The Los Angeles leg of the tour was held at the venue, Avalon Hollywood, and took place on April 30th, 2023. The venue was originally a nightclub but with a stage and lighting, the venue becomes a concert venue; Especially with a second level balcony. Avalon Hollywood is near cross streets Hollywood and Vine (right in the heart of LA). The parking lots are seen across the street as well as right next to the venue so attendees have many choices! As standard in LA, don’t expect it to be cheap. Fans should be prepared to pay anywhere from $25-$40.

OnlyOneOf wow lyOn!

The concert started almost on time with a short introduction video of their songs and the members. Everyone’s screams became ten times louder and those in attendance at the packed venue couldn’t look away from the members of OnlyOneOf.

OnlyOneOf mesmerized the audience from the moment they hit the stage. lyOn (fanclub name) couldn’t look away from their sensational choreography, amazing outfits, eye-candy looks and vocals that were on point.

Performances

The group performed many of their tracks including “skinz”, “savanna”, “sage” and their latest release, “seOul drift”. With powerful performances by all the members, they were also able to hype the crowd. OnlyOneOf included “chrOme arts”, “be free” and even “designer” as part of their set-list.

What really seemed to excite fans is when the members began chanting each others names. When they began this, lyOn’s knew it was time for a solo stage. Instead of performing alone, the members served as backup dancers and vocals for their group member.

Also, to further excite the fans present, they performed a solo dance part with the member that were coupled with them in the music video. For instance, KB with Yoojung, Mill with Nine and Rie with Junji. They showcased their strong stage presence through these stages.

OnlyOneOf’s concert seemed short but that’s because fans didn’t want to leave!

Fan Favorites

The boy group performed their fan favorite tracks “libidO”, “dOra maar”, and “gaslighting” among many others. The fans also sang along to these songs and the boys noticed.

They ended their concert with “Angel” and “OnlyOneOf you”! The members had the audience jumping up and down during “Angel”; including their CEO who was present for their final stop. Member Rie said “my MBTI is usually I but today I’m very E” to ensure fans would jump with them during the song. OnlyOneOf truly had a memorable time with lyOn’s in LA and promised to comeback again.
